In recent years, with the rapid development of multimedia computer technology and communication and network, allowing deaf people, especially teaching objectives, contents, methods and forms of organization of higher special education for the deaf have undergone tremendous changes.There is an urgent need for an evaluation model for testing effectiveness of teaching when CSCL model is applied to carry out higher special education for the deaf.The study is based on theories of social psychology, theorizing process, the development of evaluation theory and systematic evaluation of theory, which uses literature research method, content analysis, and comparative research method three kinds of research methods. The paper analyzes deaf learners'characteristics and CSCL features, then it has constructed collaborative learning evaluation model for the deaf undergraduate in CSCL.Evaluation model consists of three modules and six dimensions. The author proposes methods of evaluation index system by taking assessment of student learning process as an example based on AHP.This paper is divided into four parts:PartΙhas analyzed and summarized CSCL assessment research at home and abroad, proposed the significance of this paper studies; introduced the contents and research approaches of this study; confined concept.Part II has explored the theoretical foundation of this study and found methods and theories from theories of social psychology, theorized process, and the development of evaluation theory and systematic evaluation of theory.Part III has discussed how to construct evaluation model for the deaf undergraduate in CSCL. From the model purpose and principles of construction, evaluation and assessment of the main object, the evaluation model structure, evaluation methods, evaluation index system construction method and application of model the process of evaluation activities and other aspects have been discussed.Part IV has summed up results and lack of this study and put forward further research work to be done.
