Now, we study on medicine and psychology for the elderly people who are inclined to fall down while biodynamics mainly state about gait and balance interference. This essay applies thenar pressure test system (Rsscan International), take the retired male whom belongs to Changchun Community as the experimental objects, to obtain their thenar dynamic parameter of each left and right foot while they taking normal walking. One of the purposes is to reveal the reason that thenar pressure parameters of the elderly people who have fell down were varied; the other purpose is providing some information to those elderly people about their damage prevention and the suggestion when they choose footwear. The main research conclusions:1.The thenar pressure—time curve of the elderly people group who have fell down is gentle, this proves that they shortened the step length in order to keep the body balance, that caused the peak value decrease.2.In the group of the elderly people who have fell down, their pressure peak value data are quite different in the area of T2—T5,M3,M5 and MF, and the data of right foot are greater than left foot generally. This proves that the body function those elderly people degenerated; they cannot control the center and move smoothly. It causes the stress nonsymmetry of origin of force between the left and the right foot, whereas the right foot bears more pressure as a dominant position.3. There is a big difference between the thenar pressure peak of left and the right foot of the elderly people who have fell down. It appears evident nonsymmetry. We can conclude that their muscle activity and balanced capacity controlling force of right heel is much better the left one.4. There is a big variation of thenar pressure in each position anytime when the elderly people who have fell down are walking. They should pay attention to the strength practice in each thenar area to prevent damage.5. It appears that the hell's Pt value of the elderly people who have fell down increases evidently, the same as the Pt value of frontal sole's M4 and M5 area. This is very harmful to the elderly people's thenar health.6. The pressure center track data indicates us that, comparing to the elderly people who have fell down and the normal elderly people, the pressure center moving range on X axis direction of the former experimental group increase evidently, the result are opposite on Y axis direction. From this, we can presume that the elderly people will have a larger damage possibility on their ankles and knees while they are walking.
