Teachers are very important in the process of the Education development. With the development of economy, people get more education compared to the past. Once, people were requested to finish junior middle school education, but now, high school education and college education are required. However, in the process of transition, teachers’position and role have been obviously ignored. Researches about teachers’ pressure were done in a large scale, but did a lot for enterprise workers. Less attention has been paid to this group of people who are senior three head teachers in middle school. The research title was given by reading a lot of books and my own teaching experience in middle school. Then, I drew out the whole structure of research. After that, I did interview, questionnaire and case study to support my ideas. Meanwhile, reliability test and validity test have been done for questionnaire.The paper mainly contain four parts:pressure strength test and analysis of difference, description of current pressure situation, reasons of pressure formation, strategies and ways used to manage pressure. First of all, pressure strength test means to evaluate pressure in whole situation. I have surveyed 40 senior three head teachers in high middle schools and have done pressure strength tests for them. We should make sure whether the head teachers are under great pressure. Secondly, analyzing current pressure situation from internal and external environments, they are low social status and income, heavy burden of college entrance examination, long working hours, inadequate parents’cooperation, endless students’problems, they get discomfort and disease. Thirdly, eight reasons are given to the production of pressure, they are vacancy of policy system, dislocation of advocated ideas, incorrect function change and regulation, incomprehensive views about college entrance examination, not enough attentions given by society, students are complex, onerous task, time is limited, new demands are required because of new curriculum reform. Eight reasons are divided from macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect. Among them, the macro policy—supervision, social concepts and reform are external causes of pressure.The microscopic—teaching tasks, students, individual life styles are internal cause of pressure. Finally, effective strategies and approaches are put forward from society level, organization level and individual level. The society which affects the whole education system’s development trend and direction, and it’s also the macro external environment of pressure. Teaching organizations provide head teachers of senior three with environment and platform. Good organizations will form a benign and positive incentive system which promotes teachers make efforts actively. Personal factors determine the compressive capacity which will directly influence the level of teaching quality. Therefore, macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect should be combined to relieve the pressure of senior three head teachers. Then, comprehensive and effective solutions also should be put forward.This research is an investigation and analysis given to senior three head teachers in-depth, it’s also an exploration of new methods and new thoughts to ease pressure. Hope it can be useful to alleviate the pressure of senior three head teachers.
