Research On The Selection Of National Grants Of Poor College Students In China

State grants is to reflect the party and the government regular undergraduate institutions, vocational schools and colleges to students from poor families caring, jointly funded by the central and local governments set up, for aiding needy full-time general of the specialty (including vocational, the second degree) in school grants. The selection of work directly related to the vital interests of the poor students, state grants should be sent to the hands of poor students most in need.In this paper is based on the literature related to the collection and sorting, and four undergraduate in Wuhan University of field research and interviews, found that the current state grants were selected indicators in their evaluation, procedures, objects and effects of four there are some problems, the specific view include:Selection of indicators, indicator system is not perfect, and hard to define standard; selection procedures, Single selection method, is difficult to identify true and false Poor; selected subjects, the students are easy to breed" wait, depend on, claiming" ideas and "fish in troubled waters" thinking; selection effect, ignore the "double poor students", the fund utilization rate. The specific reasons for these problems include:selection of indicators, the lack of qualitative and quantitative indicators system; selection procedures, enrollment in government or university departments with poor health screening information, a lack of research and monitoring; selected targets, aid and educating people out of touch with the social credit system is not perfect; selection effect, the national grants system design itself is flawed. This article also addresses how to resolve these issues related recommendations:Using qualitative and quantitative approach to design more comprehensive evaluation index system of state grants, but also for the index system, designed the current status of poor college students questionnaire have some operational and practical value; specification and optimization of selection procedures; raise awareness, strengthen education, establish good faith investigation system; further improve the national system of scholarships for poor students and do a good job of supporting the work.
