Exploration Of Environmental Ethics Education In Geography Teaching

The 21st century environment puts forward higher requirements in modern civilization and moral qualities of citizens, because of its good academic characteristics, geography teaching in secondary school functions well for environmental ethics education.Since the new curriculum reform, theory of environmental ethics education, the orientation of curriculum function, new definition of learning resources, teachers'professional development, and other aspects of the situation all update. Geography teaching in secondary schools has better environment for environmental ethics education.From the perspective of component, the environmental ethics is divided into four components, that is environmental ethics awareness, environmental ethics emotion, environmental ethics determination and environmental ethics conduct. Geography curriculum in secondary school is rich in e environmental ethics education resources. Teachers should mine these resources from the curriculum standards and textbooks in order to maximize efficiency of environmental ethics education in geography Education.Teachers can use the Experiential-Education model and case-based teaching model; correctly understanding the meaning of these educational models and procedures is the basic requirement of environmental ethics education.Students'level of knowledge, intellectual development and interest in the development of love tend to have their own characteristics. Analysis and understanding of the features on mental development and design learning environment is a basis to optimize the effectiveness of moral education.This study developed a Scale for Middle-school students'environmental ethics. The self-made Middle-school Students'environmental ethics Questionnaire has high reliability and fair validity, and it can be used as a tool to measure situations of students'environmental ethics if it gets further improvement.
