| Educational equity as a key component of social justice has its particularity that it is not only of social justice embodied in the specific field of education, but also a key factor in promoting social equity which is an important means to achieve social justice. The educational equity has increasingly become the focus of attention in academic world of our country because of the impact of market economy. Although the research results to this problem can be described as voluminous, theoretical foundation of the educational equity study in our country is still weak.Marxist view of educational equity does not make up a complete, systematic theory, but lie on the scientific cornerstone that is dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and run through the Marxist theoretical system. Investigating Marxist view of educational equity, on the one hand, can expand the discipline extent of theoretical study on Marxism, making great significance in basic philosophy theory. On the other hand, from a philosophical perspective, thinking of education equity .issues by the Marxist stand, viewpoint and methods, help to broaden the educational equity theory research perspective, further consolidate the theoretical foundation of educational equity and has some theoretical significance on resolving the current inequities in education appears in our country as well.This paper includes the following parts:the first one mainly trace the history and evolution of modern ideas of educational equity in order to find out the source of thought which help to form the Marxist view of educational equity. Part II then reveals the formation background of Marxist educational equity, so as to explore how the founders of Marxism-Marx and Engels analyze the educational equity issue. The third part will fully explain the theoretical foundation of Marxist educational equity that is Marxist ideas on education, fair and equity, and human's free and all-round development. The fourth and fifth part will describe respectively the main content and theoretical characteristic of Marxist educational equity, seeking a comprehensive and thorough analysis. Finally, contacting our practice, this paper discusses the Marxist educational equity in China's practice and development, and also points out the theoretical guidance significance to the current academic research on educational equity issue. |
