Marx formed his own independent Educational Equity Thought based on thecriticism of educational inequalities in capitalist society and various non-Marxistideas of equality in education. Because Marx has never specifically discussed oneducational equity issues, Marx’s Educational Equity Thought has never been formedas complete systematic theory. The author compiled Marx’s Educational EquityThought based on his own discourse on the issues of educational equity and exploredits contemporary value for building fair education system in our country.Marx’s Educational Equity Thought is the fundamental guiding ideology forChina’s Education System. Marx’s Educational Equity Thought also has great guidingsignificance for our country to build a more equitable education system. Marx’sEducational Equity Thought lies on dialectical materialism and historical materialism.Marx pointed out that the equal and fair educational right is the essential requirementsof fair education and human freedom and comprehensive development is the highestideal.Throughout the development of education fair course, since the founding of NewChina, the Party and the People’s Government fight the education leadership for theproletarians. The protections of people’s equal educational right provide a realisticguarantee to equitable education. With the development of the society, the educationalright always be expanding, all kinds of education is developing, education fair systemis constantly improving. We should be clear realizing that the reformation anddevelopment of education and economy were not yet adapted to people’s requirementsand expectations, especially the educational unfair problems.Education is the most important thing in the society development and educationis the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress. This paper attempts toexplore the solution of unfair education problems in our country throughout Marx’sEducational Equity Thought. On one hand, we can understand and study China’seducational equity from a scientific point of view and make the Marx’s EducationalEquity Thought to play a fundamental guiding significance. On the other hand, weneed to implement the practical value of Marx’s Educational Equity Thought and improve the policies and systems to building a fairer education system.
