Research On Project-based Textbook Design Of Vocational & Technical Education

Textbook plays an important role in curriculum reformation. If we are short of textbook of high quality, the curriculum concept will not to be implemented in teaching practice, and the curriculum reformation will not take one more step. So, we should pay attention to textbook design.Nowadays, project-based curriculum is widely carried out in vocational education, but we must give attention to the problems that we are lack of project-based textbook which corresponds to the project-based curriculum concept, and the researches on the project-based textbook are rare. In fact, it is of great value to take research on the project-based textbook design, because it can make design of project-based textbook more normative and scientific, and it can implement the concept of project-based curriculum, and improve the quanlity of textbook in vocational education. In view of the reality need and the siginificance of research, I think it is necessary to take further research on project-based textbook design. The dissertation has combed out the predecessor's researches on vocational textbook, textbook design and project-based textbook, utilized literature material law and text analytic method, and explained the theory basis and details of pratice. The dissertation includes five chapters.Chater One is introduction. I explained three research origins, combed out and summarized related materials, clarified the research methods used in the dissertation in this chapter.Chapter Two is about the connotation and theory basis of projet-based textbook design of Vocational &Technical education. I defiened the conceptions of "project-based curriculum" and "textbook design", then I clarified the theretical basises of project-based textbook that were project-based curriculum theroy and instructional design of integrative task theory.Chapter Three is about structure design of project-based textbook in Vocational&Technical Education. In this chapter I explained the conntation and reasons for structure design of project-based textbook, and put forward that structure design of project-based textbook included gross structure design and the specific structure design, thenâ… clarified design details of them.Chapter Four discusses the content design of project-based textbook. In this chapterâ… probed the problems of content in traditional textbook of Vocational education and their origins, presented changes in five aspects, thenâ… explained how to design project-based textbook content based on activity design and knowledge design.Chapter Five is about the design of supporting system in project-based textbook of Vocational&Techincal Education. This chapter contains two parts which are connotation and constitutes of supporting system, and the design of eight factors. The supporting systerm contains eight factors which are format design, cover design, preface design, catalog design, layout design and so on.The last part contains conclusions and forecasts of this research.
