Under the background of the Ministry of Education accelerating the development of information technology for vocational education,vocational colleges have realized the transformation of education and teaching models,the change of learning methods and the importance of improving the information literacy of teachers and students.As a new form of educational media that combines technology and content,electronic textbooks provide a platform for teachers to transform traditional teaching thinking,provide a platform for students to realize contextual wisdom learning,and a possibility to overcome the limitations of paper textbooks in time and space.However,due to the wide range of majors covered by vocational education,the textbooks used by schools vary in different versions,which are difficult to be developed and promoted in the same way as the electronic textbooks used in primary and secondary schools.Therefore,vocational education requires a design and development model of electronic textbooks that meet its characteristics.The project-based textbook has become one of the mainstream forms of vocational education textbooks.Therefore,this study is based on the Project Teaching Method to explore new ideas and new paths for the design and development of vocational education electronic textbooks.Based on the research results of the relevant literature of electronic textbooks and the core concepts of Project Teaching Method,this study forms the basic framework of the structural elements of project-based electronic textbooks.Then combining the teaching standards of vocational education and the analysis of the actual needs of electronic textbooks by first-line teachers and students,clarifying the Module Group Design Model of project-based vocational education electronic textbooks,and based on the model to construct an electronic textbook design and development model that meets the teaching needs of the vocational education project and the digital publishing process—The Module Group Development Model(MGDM),and then use the “Marketing Practice” as an example to verify the feasibility of the model.Refer to the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)and combine the opinions of experts and the characteristics of the electronic textbooks.Through questionnaires,interviews,application practice and domain expert evaluation,as a combination of qualitative and quantitative research results in the conclusion of the effect analysis,that is,the teacher and student believe that the electronic textbook based on the design and development of the model meets its practical needs,which can help them implement the project-based teaching or learning of work-integrated learning more effectively and have the willingness to continue to use.The MGDM model is effective.This research through the exploration of the project-based vocational education electronic textbook design and development model,to achieve customized development of electronic textbooks,to meet the individual needs of teachers and students,and provides a practical path and some new research ideas for the design,development and application of electronic textbooks in the field of vocational education.
