With the continuous development of our economy and the improvement of people's living conditions, sports entertainment has gradually become an important part of our lives and the competition of consumer market of sports goods will be fierce. Under the background of the integrated development strategy of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan, how to promote the rapid development of sports goods consumer market of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan has become an important research topic.In this paper, we study on the sports goods consumer markets of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan by using the methods of documents, investigation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. We have made some investigations for the supply and demand status of sports goods consumer markets of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan and analyzed the motivations and influencing factors for the city residents to buy sports goods. We also have analyzed the differences and problems for the sports goods consumer markets of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the development of sports goods consumer markets.Research result enunciation:The enterprises of sports goods in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan all are small scale and less competitive.The main motivation of buying sports goods for residents is to participate in sports activities. But sportswear also become leisure time wear for residents.There are many factors will have an influence on residents'buying sports goods in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan. When buying sportswear, the own-brand and price are the main two factors which people consider.While buying sports equipments, people main consider the sports items and price.The sports goods consumer markets of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan have some differences and imbalance because of the influence of their sports values, residents'incomes, the sports goods'price level, the sports goods'brand effect, living environments and other factors.The overall scale of the sports goods consumer markets of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan is small and has lagged far behind the development of the stationery market.
