Research On Cognizable Criteria And Management Of XW University's Poverty-stricken Students

With the rapid expanding of the enrollment in XW University, the number of its poverty-stricken students increased accordingly. The growth rate of the poverty-stricken students has surpassed that of its enrollment, which makes the management of the poverty-stricken students one of the most important objects. However, in XW University, its traditional poverty-stricken student management has failed, to some extent, in practical work, thus a series of scientific and easy-operating methods to perfect its traditional poverty-stricken student management has become urgent. Therefore, it has the important significance to study the criteria for identifying the poverty-stricken students in college and also the approaches to supervising.This article researches the identification criterion and management approach of poverty-stricken students, with the reference to documents in the fields of management, psychological analysis and identification related to poverty-stricken students, and by the analysis of the actual state of poverty-stricken students management in XW University, discovers the problems in it. The identification system, financial assistance system, and the helping-hand system of poverty-stricken students needs to be improved and strengthened. To solve these problems, this article proposes to establish poverty-stricken students' identification criterion based on the combination of fixed quailty and quantity, and the management approach suitable to the actualities of XW University. First, establish a three-stage evaluation system. Carry out researches on the basis of divided stages, using the method of the combination of fixed quality and quantity. This method has overcome the disadvantages in poverty-stricken students identification of not being diversed in form. Second, conduct a survey on the distribution process of financial aid. Set up an evaluation system of distribution of financial aid, through which to acquire a publicly recognized assessment result. Third, perfect poverty-stricken students'financial assistance system in XW University. Strengthen poverty-stricken students' mental health education and efforts devoted to their vocational guidance. These are effective ways to improve the management of poverty-stricken students.
