Research On University Spirit And Current Development Of University Students' Association In China

University spirit is the soul of a university,which guides the development of the university and it's student associations. University students'association as an important part of university campus culture construction is the practitioner of university spirit. Today, with the development of the time and the improvement of higher education, the study and thought method of university students has changed. And university students'association has rapidly developed these years and presents the vigorous developmental tendency. All these changes bring something new and good, also leads to some problems. This thesis considers that university spirit as the essence and value of university students'associations is implicit in the construction of it. Without university spirit, the construction of university students'associations would be stay in a unordered and low level, and could not systematically passed on to the next generation. Meanwhile, university students'associations are good carriers and representations of university spirit, and the development of students'associations has very important significance for inheriting of university spirit.This thesis studies the university students'association from the angle of university spirit. Firstly, On the base of illustrating the meaning of university students'association and university spirit as well as the relation between them, this thesis indicates what university spirit should be promoted. Secondly, this thesis collects data from the interview with the teachers and students relevant to students'associations of S university. From the analysis of the data and relevant information, this thesis indicates the current situation as well as problems of students'associations and analyzes the reasons. At last, basing on the analysis, this thesis reconsiders the development of students'associations, puts forward some suggestions from the aspect of promoting university spirit. Such as the suggestion of building up the learning style organization and team spirit in students'associations, attaching importance to institutional innovation and demonstrating university spirit from various association activities.
