This study was based on the comprehensive and systematical summary of previous studies. The questionnaire method was used and 580 graduate students in 6 majors took part in the research. We used two questionnaires, Occupational Values of College Students, and Survey of College Students'Learning Autonomy. Questionnaire of students'occupational values was directly referred to the occupational values questionnaire compiled by Jin Shenghua. And students learning autonomy questionnaire was revised on the basis of reference to the scale which was compiled by Xie Jiashu, Hong-Mei Yuan. Then the predictive scale was supplemented by interviewing with graduate students.This study analyzed the post-graduate professional values and the general characteristics of. The influnence of background variables on professionnal values of graduate and learning autonomy of graduate were discussed. At the same time, we explore the relationship between them. Based on all the work, the article summarized the results and disicussed all the problems deeply, and the deficiency of the study was raised at the end. Here shows the brief results:(1)on professional values, the sample descriptive statistics shows that achievement and status purchasing, the two dimensions hit the highest average; background variables Statistics shows that gender, profession, grade, homeplace, family culture shows significant differences in post-graduate professional values.(2)on learning autonomy, the sample descriptive statistics shows that graduate students have high level of independent learning, and have also shown a high level of autonomy in learning strategies, learning motivation and learning environment, in which capacity of learning strategies is the highest . The background variables statistics shows that gender, homeplace and family culture sees significant differences in the autonomy of graduate studies.(3)on the relationship between professional values and learning autonomy , correlation analysis shows that significant positive correlation between most of the dimensions of graduate employment values and learning autonomy. the purposive professional values and learning autonomy have generally higher correlation than instrumental professional values and learning autonomy. The regression analysis shows that there is significant linear relationship between three variables of family maintenance, social promotion, pay and prestige and independent study, and the three variables has some positive incentives to the latter one.
