With the continuous expansion of colleges and universities and the popularization of higher education,college administrators,as backup troops and security guards of college management,usually faced with complicated work tasks,and show an impatient professional attitude in the process of work,and make disrespect.The behavioral performance has greatly affected the management efficiency of colleges and universities,so the society and colleges and universities also put forward higher requirements for the competence of administrative managers.Based on the collection and collation of a large number of domestic and foreign literatures,this study conducts research through self-made scales in combination with expert consultation and interview data.It mainly discusses the following questions: First,the professional values and job competence of current administrative staff in universities What is the status quo? The second is whether their professional values are relevant to job competence and to what extent? The third is how to improve the level of job competence through professional values? What are the feasible ways? The study mainly found the following points:1.At present,the overall professional values and job competence of administrative staff of colleges and universities in Fujian Province are relatively high.2.There is a significant positive correlation between the professional values of college administrators and job competence,that is,the higher the level of professional values,the stronger the job competence.3.The four dimensions of career values have a predictive effect on job competence.Finally,based on the above findings,combined with the factors that affect the competence of university administrators,the corresponding management countermeasures are proposed to further improve the work competence of university administrators,improve work efficiency,and ensure the normal and efficient operation of universities.Escort and further promote the self-development of college administrators.
