Analyses Of Investigation And Influences On Professional Values Of Secondary Technical Nursing Students

Objectives:The aim of this study was to investigate the status of professional values ofsecondary technical nursing students across to questionnaire survey, and to analyzethe related factors affecting the professional values.On this basis of the study, to probethe right way to set up professional values of secondary technical nursing students,andto provide reference for nursing educators and administrators to take professionalvalues education.Methods:On the method of convenience sampling,750nursing students which from3secondary technical nursing schools in Changchun city were investigated appliedquestionnaires.The questionnaire include two parts, one is the basic information andinfluencing factors survey forms, another is Super professional values. The data wasentered by Epidata3.1software and analyzed by SPSS17.0software.Themeasurement data analysis adopted descriptive statistical and single factor analysisadopted t test,analysis of variance, rank and inspection,there are differences in theresults were included in regression analysis.Results:1.The study provide750questionnaires,750taken back with the response rate of100%,664valid questionnaires with the effective rate was88.5%.2.For Secondary Technical Nursing Students,the most important fivedimensions of professional values they think was: Colleagues relationship(16.732.69),Way of life(16.142.73),Working environment(16.113.04),Economic return(16.112.74),Accomplishment(16.042.79).The least importantfive dimensions was Creativity(14.332.91),Management(14.452.70),Variety(14.532.58),Aesthetics(15.172.76),Independence(15.292.77). 3.For Secondary Technical Nursing Students,the important three indicators of professional values they think was extrinsic reward(15.99±2.24), extrinsic value(15.83±2.24), and intrinsic value(15.23±2.10).4.There were different factors affected15dimensions of Secondary Technical Nursing Students’professional values including gender,age,presence of internship or not,teachers’professional values,knowledge of social status about nurse, etc. Conclusions:1.The Characteristics of secondary technical nursing students’professional values:pay attention to interpersonal relationships, ignore the independence of work,emphasize extrinsic reward, ignore the intrinsic value.2.The affected factors of Secondary Technical Nursing Students’professional values including gender, the cause of choose the nursing profession,grade,character, nursing teachers’ values,whether like nursing profession, etc.3.Nursing students with internship experience,the affected factors of their professional values including relationship with the patients, relationship with nursing teachers, satisfaction with the internship.4.Cultivate comprehensive ability of nursing students,promote the intrinsic value,carry out the professional values education,adopt different methods to set up the correct professional values of nursing students,improve nursing teachers’ professional values.5.Pay attention to the factor of internship affect nursing students professional values.
