The Study Of The Current Situation And The Countermeasures Of Development Of Tennis In Common Colleges And Universities Of Southern Jiangsu Province

Tennis has won the favor of our college students for its profound cultural foundation and the elegance of the property, its unique characteristics of the project fully meets the young man's need to pursue fashion and concer to health . At present, some colleges and universities have opened tennis courses。The atmosphere of the school tennis is very strong. tennis instruction become the new teaching hot spot of physical education for college. This paper has the tennis status of common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province as research object,using the methods of literature,questionnaire , mathematical statistics, logic, reasoning and other research methods, investigating the tennis Status of 12 pairs of extracted common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province , focusly analying the lying problems and deficiency and putting forward feasible suggestions and solutions, providing theoretical guidance for the tennis sport's popularity and develoption of the South of Jiangsu Province as well as the National universities .The study results show that:1. Common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province except Jiangsu Police Officer College have set up tennis lessons, but most of them set up a small class, use of self-compiled teaching materials the students of the tennis lessons are large , tennis lessons examnation methods wait to be improved.2. Common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province tennis teacher are short in regular undergraduate institutions of South Jiangsu, most of them are seniority. the overall situation of academic structure is satisfactory, but the high title of tennis teachers are less than normal.3. Common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province is lack of tennis courts. tennis courts is in good condition in extra-curricular time , activities are based on students, most of the college tennis courts are free for students on Weekend.4. The establishment of Tennis Club are many in common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province, but the scale is defined, the influence is small, extra-curricular tennis competitions are carried out commonly5. Most of the leaders of common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province support the develoption of the tennis sport in regular undergraduate institutions of South Jiangsu.6. Common colleges and universities in Southern Jiangsu Province tennis teams is in its development stage , the gap between the players are large, the majority of college tennis teams to participate in a high-level competitions are few.Advice:1. Strengthen the promtion of tennis sport on campus, heighten campus tennis culture,the public physical department of colleges and universities actively mobilize the body of the school take part in this sport ,enhance the leaders favour and attention to tennis2. According to the colleges and universities'feilds, teachers, students, etc. set a reasonable number of teaching hours an d the number density of tennis lessons, and make standards for assess of tennis lessons sciencely, set a fair evaluation methods, so that the evaluation standards can better reflect the efforts degree of the students.3. Strengthen the training of professionals for Tennis sports colleges, continue to provide teaching staff from the source and increase the building of tennis teaching staff ,absorb the high-level tennis teachers, and enhance the existing tennis teacher in-service training ,improve the quality of the existing tennis teachers.4. Use of social capital Multi-channelly, speed up the build of the tennis courts , execute the Scientific Management to the existing tennis courts, improve space utilization.5. Tennis teachers should train a certain number of backbone students in the classroom, help teachers carry out extra-curricular guidance , accelerate the establishment of institutions to run the tennis club event management agencies with professional management staff, carry out various forms of school tennis competition activity plannedly and organizedly .6.Strengthen the tennis team-building of the colleges, establish and improve college tennis competition management system.
