In this paper, the premise of the survey, summed up after the new curriculum reform language teaching content features. Language teaching content according to the reality of the need to rebuild the introduction of "choose the text type" theory, pointing out that "choose the text type" theory of language teaching content in the reconstruction of the significance of the application; and focused on the different types of text during the election of teaching the design of different teaching strategies.Full-text is divided into three main parts.The first part, I carried out research on the content of language teaching status of the investigation. The results showed that the new curriculum reform since the Chinese classroom teaching has undergone great changes, but the content of language teaching has not changed the reality of aging. In other words, we are looking for the Reconstruction of the content of language teaching is still not been achieved.The second part, first, a brief selection of teaching materials for the text, "select the text type." And then focuses on the different "select the text type" in the course of the development of methods of teaching design principles, methods of disposal of materials in different characteristics. On this basis, to explore the "choose the text type" of research and application in language teaching content in the reconstruction of the far-reaching significanceIn order to enable more people to be able to apply "choose the text type" reasonable instructional design, in the third section, I will focus on studies of the four kinds of "choose the text type" teaching strategies. First, the classic example of the teacher analyze and sum up its successful experience, and then select the text proposed by the different types of teaching strategies.
