As basic and important parts of education datum, textbooks are the main medium between teachers and students, and they also are important curriculum resources. Textbooks materialize curriculum content. The new curriculum innovation has begun. On the premise of the same curriculum standard, the ministry of education permits and encourages the different areas to choose and compile senior high school textbooks which are fit for different situations. A higher demand for textbooks'writing and textbooks'analysis has been advanced.England is a developed country. its education is advanced, which is considered as one of the most excellent education. Its education pays attention to promote all-sided developments for every student, and it also pays attention to foster survival abilities and scientific attainments. Physics is a main subject for fostering scientific attainments. Its physics textbooks fully embody its education idea, which are excellent. We should analyze and study in depth.Taking the theory of pedagogy as the theory based and considering specialty of physics, the thesis chooses analytical method and investigation's method to analyze《Mechanics》in depth. A frame of textbooks'analysis has been set up. At the end of the thesis suggestions for textbooks'innovation and textbooks'writing are stated.The thesis includes five parts as follows. Firstly summarize the research status quo of physics textbooks'analysis. Secondly construct textbook analysis's model including the basis of textbook analysis's model construction and textbook analysis's model. Thirdly the whole analysis of physics textbooks《Mechanics》in England senior high school by constructed textbook analysis's model, including its creation background and its all looks, among them there are introduction and analysis to parts concerning physics in《Science in the National Curriculum for England》, the systemic analysis of contents, system structure and the writing,picture and layout of printed sheet design etc. Fourthly the analysis in depth of"kinematics"in《Mechanics》using constructed textbook analysis's model. Finally suggestions for textbooks'innovation and textbooks'writing are stated.
