| From the year of 2001, the national reform of the curriculum carried forward, at April 2003, Senior High School History Curriculum Standards (Experimental Version) is issued for enforcement; from September 2004, New Curriculum Standards was experiencing teaching experiment. The Inner Mongolia senior high school has adopted new reformed texts book from 2009. The new texts book advocates real improvement of national quality as the main purpose. There are significant content changes in the reformed texts book, as large proportion of new fresh contents are added into the non-main texts parts, the percentage of it even larger than the main texts parts. The pursuit of continuous improvement of teaching quality and teaching effectiveness are the teachers'endless objectives. However, there are still lots of area left for improvement. The adopting of old teaching methods for new texts book is still a serious problem.This essay is focused on exploring how to improve the teaching effectiveness by using non-main texts parts. The perspective of using non-main texts parts to improve teaching effectiveness has been tested at Erlian international language school. It is hoped that this essay can throw some lights to senior high school curriculum reformation and History teaching quality improvement.To sum up, this essay analyses the characteristics and assortments of new reformed texts book published by People's education press, raises the problems of old teaching method under the background of the new reformed texts books, then discussed the methodology of using non-main text parts for improving teaching effectiveness, and summarizes the achievements and difficulties during teaching practices. |
