Based on the theory and the idea of Lifelong Learning, the author did a deep research on the possibility and significance of the flexible reform on the system of the University Entrance Examination.First of all, the author observed the history, status and the problem of the current system of University Entrance Examination, and then came to the conclusion that the current system of University Entrance Examination should be improved in the Lifelong Learning Era, so as to promote the continuous professional development of the students, to get the balance between the Elementary Education Reform and the need of Social Professionals etc.Second, the author explored the methods on the reform of the University Admission System, through a theoretical analysis of the Lifelong Learning, an investigation on the senior middle school students who graduated in 2009, and a reference of the international experiences.Finally, the author created a flexible model of the University Admission System. Vertically, to set up the progressive assessment system, by gathering the performance of the graduation examination, the university entrance examination, and the university independent examination. Horizontally, to improve the relationship between the Academic Education and the Vocational Education, by bringing in sub-bachelor degree, and then the author came to an explicit analysis of feasibility and perspectives.
