Lifelong learning is recognized as the concept of survival in the 21 st century.Under the influence of this international trend of thought,China has proposed the goal of building a learning organization and a lifelong learning system.Lifelong learning has gradually become people's way of life and value pursuit.Corporate Universities in our country shoulder the historic mission of developing lifelong learning,accelerate the establishment of a learning society and promote the transformation of our country from a large human resource country to a powerful human resource country.Corporate Universities are increasingly attached great importance by the government and are given more expectations and responsibilities than before.Despite the rapid development of Corporate Universities in China,they are still in their infancy and initial stage,with uneven quality of running schools.Compared with advanced countries,the status quo of enterprise universities that only pay attention to hardware construction but ignore software construction is still outstanding,which restricts the substantive development of enterprise universities.From the perspective of lifelong learning,this paper systematically studies the development of Enterprise Universities in China from the theoretical and empirical perspectives.Firstly,this paper combs the domestic and foreign literature on Enterprise University research by using literature method.Secondly,on the basis of detailed logical relationship between related concepts,this paper defines the connotation of the Enterprise University in China.This paper clarifies the relationship between the lifelong learning and the corporate university.Furthermore,this paper analyses the general situation,characteristics and functions of Enterprise Universities at each development stage,according to the development history of Enterprise Universities.Next,through the case study of two famous enterprise universities in China,it is clear that the current situation of the construction of training system,curriculum system and teacher system in the development of Enterprise Universities in China.Combining theory and practice,through interviews with university managers and training objects,this paper puts forward some related problems from multiple perspectives,such as "different attention levels of senior leaders in enterprises,lagging behind in the construction of training evaluation system","single mode of training and teaching in enterprise universities,easy to produce work-study contradictions","inadequate learning initiative of E-learning platform without obvious training effect".Based on this conclusion,it is suggested that "building learning organization and realizing the strategy of strengthening enterprise by talents","expanding internal training to industry leaders","optimize the selection and combination of teaching methods in enterprise universities","actively promote the construction of E-learning learning platform","strengthen the supervision of enterprise senior leaders on training process" and "improve the training evaluation system of enterprise universities".
