With the study activities appeared, there was the problem about the students with learning difficulties. There is no exception in English study. In today's education, there are still some students with learning difficulties.Experts all over the world have researched the transformation of such students and made great progress. In China, it has become a focus that the whole society pays close attention to and become a social problem that cannot be ignored. And in English study it also has become an important practical problem that English teachers are faced with.The students with English learning difficulties need the teachers'help. In the course of real educating and teaching, the teachers should transform them in order to finish their study smoothly.First, this essay is on the base of pedagogy, psychology, personal educating and teaching experience, overseas literatures and domestic investigations and it analyzes the definition of learning difficulties and the causes which produce learning difficulties.Next, the writer believes that the study should proceed by further investigations of individual cases and practical research. The essay introduces the research method and its application and analyzes the research results. It surveys students by questionnaire, interview; student case and so on, discussing the causes which lead to English learning difficulties and put forward some practical countermeasures.The writer summarizes:get them a better mood for study to establish the requisite for study; set up a good relationship between the teacher and the students to make the active classroom atmosphere; make staged goals to experience the feeling of success; direct them how to learn English to cultivate their confidence; encourage them to make use of their talents; keep heart full of love to transform the students with English learning difficulties. Through these methods and actions, the writer hopes to improve their abilities of English learning and recover their confidence in English learning. Then, the essay comes to conclusions as follows:The living conditions in class of the students with English learning difficulties should be paid attention to by vast numbers of teachers; the reasons why one student with English learning difficulties are complicated; there are many ways to transform them, we should strive for all the strength and work at the senior one students.Last, this essay makes some suggestions, which should be helpful to the understanding and research of the group with English learning difficulties to change their present living conditions and to improve their enthusiasm and interest in English learning. For example, build the students'duties of study, arouse their motivation and increase the sense of responsibilities of students; make them form a good habit of study and teach them learning strategies to help students to learn how to learn; improve the classroom teaching in English and the conditions of the students with English learning difficulties.
