The Study On The Survival And Development Issues Of The Left-behind Children In Rural Area In Hebei

If the issues of the left-behind children can be solved is related not only to the healthy growth of themselves and the future population quality of our country, but also to harmony, stability and sustainable development of our society. So this study has very important practical significance.This study is based on children's social theory, social support theory, psychological theory of communication and educational equity theory, its research object is the survival and development issues of the left-behind children in rural Hebei. The study which have used literature research, survey research and field research method, have explored the survival and development conditions of the left-behind children in rural areas in our province through the field survey on six cities in Hebei. This study has found that the problems in the socialization process of the left-behind children are lack of family education, personality development not healthy, human communication discord, social assistance social not perfect and so on. And the study has further analyzed that the causes which have contributed to the survival and development plight of these children are that the family income is low, care environment is poor, the threshold of the migrant school is high, school education and management is not in place and the left-behind children are affected by peer groups and mass media. To solve these problems and causes, the author proposes that by creating a good family environment, raising the teaching ang management level of schools, enhancing integrated management of the government and creating a good social atmosphere, we should establish a complete social support system of the left-behind children in rural to protect the health development of the left-behind children in rural Hebei.
