Mr. Huang Yao, one of the leaders in the field of China's vocational education since last several decades, used to be the chief of Adult Education Office in Chinese Educational Department for almost 10 years (1998-2009). He stuck to develop the vocational education unswervingly and his thoughts about modern vocational education were well fulfilled in its reformation and development.The thesis first introduces Mr. Huang's researches on the macro-policy of vocational education, then analyzes his principles and measures on modern vocational education during the period of reformation and further development of our country's education. Besides, his educational strategies, the system of educational provision and operation and the training mode, which thoroughly reflected his thoughts on modern vocational education are deeply studied. Furthermore, three important factors that deeply and long-term affected the reformation and developments of our country's vocational education are discussed:(â…°) the institutional reformation of vocational education; (â…±) the educational strategy based on "service as a core and employment as a guidance"; (â…²) the combination of study and industry. The thesis thinks that the three factors disscussed above really reflected Mr. Huang's thoughts on modern vocational education which has the characteristic of times value, Chinese characteristics and creativity.Mr. Huang's thoughts about modern vocational educations are derived from the practice of the reformation and development of vocational educations. Meanwhile, it provides technical support to the further reformation and development of vocational education. It is not only one of the important steps in the history of contemporary vocational educations in our country, but also invaluable experience for the educational reformations of all developing countries.
