"Cultivation" has existed since ancient times. From the very beginning, it basically contains the meanings of " raising " and " influence ". "Cultivation Education" is the main content of traditional Chinese language teaching. In the west, Plato and Aristotle in ancient Greece had a special love to "Cultivation Education". They believed education is to train and cultivate the heart of the body. Literature, art and tragedy have a great effect on people. Besides, Rousseau explained in detail the contents and methods of "Cultivation Education" in the " Emil". In the moment," Cultivation education "," Awaken Education " and " All-round Education " complement each other. The high expectations of "Cultivation Education" replacing the " Examination-oriented Education " are gaining more calls than ever before. It can be said that "Cultivation Education" is not only a traditional culture, but also a new concept with modern meanings.The significance of "Cultivation Education" is that it says no to " Examination-oriented Education " and it comprehensively wakes up and fostes the students' spiritual world. From the educational point of view of senior middle school Chinese language teaching, the significance of" Examination-oriented Education " contains the following four points:it can cultivate students' noble, develop students' aesthetic consciousness, help students establish the correct values, improve students' ability to love and help them to correctly handle the relationship between man and nature."Cultivation Education" in senior Chinese teaching is with a solid theoretical support. Language is the unity of instrumentality and humanity, is the carrier of culture, is part of the culture. Philosophical epistemology pays much attention to logic and reasoning as well as the relationship between representation and essence. Existential pays attention to people's feelings and view this as its character. The former is theoretical basis, while the later humanity basis. "Cultivation Education" is on the theoretical foundation. The " Personality of Operant Conditioning theory "," Personality Theory of Learning " and " Dynamic Theory " in educational psychology also provide a theoretical basis to "Cultivation Education".Compared with other phases, "Cultivation Education" in senior middle school has distinctive features. High school students' life consciousness has awakened, " Ego " concept increasingly clear, evaluation standard increasingly high, their aesthetic standards and aesthetic tastes are quite different from ones in junior middle school and primary school. So the characters of cultivation in senior middle school can be expressed as follows:concealment and implicit; with autonomy and awareness; with a dialog and democracy; with a life characteristics. This requires high school language teachers run silently and respect students in this process and revert Chinese class to a ecological landscape with life, wisdom, and harmony, so that we can make every individual stretch, moisten the mind and has great perfect life forms in immerse of Chinese culture.Cultivation education in senior Chinese teaching can be realized through various channels:through aesthetic teaching and dialogue-based teaching and experiential teaching and other teaching methods, or with the help of aesthetic, vivid, emotional and philosophy teaching language, or by dint of text with humanistic or an more important method-----writing.
