The theme educational activities as a comprehensive educational campaign, stressing the "theme" for the center, integrating knowledge in various fields, children's needs, interests and a variety of educational resources to integrate education for young children.The prototype of theme educational activities can be traced back to the "The Whole Teaching" in our country and the "Design Pedagogy" of foreign country.As a Special Administrative after returning back to our country,the Macau Government made some policy for the various stages of education, which greatly contributed to the rapid development of Macao's education.However, its historical background and cultural environment determines the Macao's education also have some shortcomings.For a long time, private kindergartens and government kindergartens coexist in Macao,and the private kindergartens accounted for most of them.The hardware and the level of teacher's quality in private kindergartens can not be compared with the government kindergartens, which leading to the level of the overall development of early childhood education is not high.The theme educational activities in kindergartens appears later in Macau, and the level of development is mixed.The purpose of this study is finding the issues based on the actual situation of the development of the theme educational in Macau.Then Investigate the tactics to improve the theme educational activities in Macau,referring to the excellent theme of educational theory and practical experience.The thesis is divided into three parts:Part I: The overview of the theme educational activities.The main contents include the definition of "theme" and "The theme educational in kindergartens", and on this basis,analysing the characteristics of the education movement,the type and the theme of domestic and abroad. Part II: Introducing the background of Macao's theme educational activities. By comparing 1991, "Macau education system" with 2006 "non-higher education system outline Method"to witness the development of Macau education. Elaborating the development of kindergarten-education in Macao, analysing the problem of the kindergarten education. Proposing some of the problems existing in Macao's educational practice, from the design theme, the launch of theme educational activities and evaluation of educational activities this three large subjects.Part III: Addressing these issues in partII, based on the theme and experience,Proposing possible measures to solve existing problems in the three large subjects of the theme educational activities.As a form of education,the theme educational activities, it is not to be carried out by geographical constraints, but have global adaptability, and the specific subject matter is with local characteristics.The problems which exist in Macau kindergarten theme education are also exist in lots of mainland China kindergarten education.When we developing the theme educational activities in Macau, not only to study the excellent education experience of the mainland and foreign kindergarten's theme educational activities, but also pay much more attention to the localization of the theme education in Macau.
