With more and more rapid process of industrialization and urbanization, the increasing demand for labor resources and the size of floating population, the structure of floating population has changed. One of the most obvious changes is that more and more pre-school migrant children come to live together in "villages in cities" or live scattered in fringe areas of city. They were born in cities and gradually stayed here much more time than before. The more new city habitants they become, the more complicated their living is. For example, they were challenged with many difficulties:disadvantaged economic status of parents, limited capital contribution on family culture and lack of normal education. This research is aimed to demonstrate the development environment of pre-school migrant children and explore the social significance and value behind those real stories. This research takes Huihui as the case study, who is a migrant pre-schooler from a village in Sichuan Province and now lives with his parents in a city in Zhejiang Province. Large amounts of first-hand materialwere gathered through several ways as follow: investigating his family and kindergarten and talking with his parents, relatives and teachers even the director of the factory his parents work at and the carders from that community they live in. This paper sorted and analyzed these materials, took his migration, activities, study, and social environment into consideration under research theories and discussed the factors influencing his development. This research on Huihui's life in city is an ecology-oriented study, which shows the full view of pre-school migrant children and provides some materials for the present research on this area. This research mainly analyzes and investigates Huihui's three aspects:he is a migrant child, he is not in his hometown and he is in education. On exploring the factors influencing his development, it analyzes from three aspects:family cultivation, daily life and living environment. This research presents the conclusion:Huiui's family cultivation is under a vague object, mutual care by elder sisters or brothers is the main form and problems as well as hopes both exist between parents and children; Huihui's learning is conducted in daily family life as well as his mother's cultivation; Huihui's living environment(such as living characteristic, family condition, money spent on culture, family member's relationship and social environment etc.) affects his development.
