The moral socialization of college students refers to the process of college students internalizing of code of ethics prevail in a certain society into moral behaviours accepted by the society. This issue is of both profound theoretical and practical significance. The moral socialization of contemporary college students has the apparent traits of postmodernity: uncertainty and diversification; rebel and disauthorization; entertainment and popularization. These result to some pressing problems: the increasing vagueness of moral cognition in the process of disauthorization; the trend to apathy in the process of deconstruction; the weaker and weaker moral will in the process of overturning the mainstream; the nihility of moral practice in the process of denying reality. The three main reasons are: postmodernism thoughts caters for their individual needs; moral education ignores the effects of postmodernity to college students; the postmodernism social circumstances influence the thoughts of college students under the postmodernist context. It brings a new and grave subject for the ideological and political education in college because of the influence of the postmodernist thoughts on college students and the difficulty of the realizing moral socialization in their reality. The successful realization of moral socialization can be reached from three aspects: ideologically, to update the concepts of moral education with the spirit of postmodernism creativity; methodological, to innovate on the aim, content, approach, relation and assessment with the help of postmodernst ethics; individual morally, to strengthen the construction on students' capability of moral socialization.
