Research On The College Students’ Moral Education Of Citizenship Based The Orientation Of Political Socialization

Higher education is becoming a more open system which brings about energy interaction and exchange between economy, polity and culture in the current social system among with higher education popularization, therefore, the connection between university and society is becoming closer. The cultural identity, the realization of the values, the enhancement of moral reasoning and the improvement of political participation capabilities in university cultural community will become a huge social capital, the secondary education of the citizens of society now and in the future as well, which will allow colleges and universities increasingly to become the center of the communityThe research in the backgroud of modernization, globalization, information technology, and diversity is based on the prerequisite which is the effect on citizen’s cultivating of popularization of higher education in a deeper and broader sense. The basic hypothesis of the research is that there are strong connections among higher education, policy and moral maturity, as well as there is correlation between citizen’s political and cultural ability. The purpose of research is to prove that modern development of human being calls for moral criterion and value and transcendency, which guide us to realize human truly, known ourselves exactly, understand others correctly and improve ourselves and enjoy accepting community. The research also makes the basic judgment that social and political institution requires morality as foundation and this morality must have identity and maintain in the society. The identity of political value is the essence of citizen morality. Without the correct understanding of social political value, as a matter of fact the citizen moral education will become moral education for private people.To explore the deep and internal meaning of citizenship moral education in higher education, we focus on the elements as follow. First of all, the core concept, political socialization is placed in the relationship of human existence and the political existence of the of human society. The relationship between "moral" and "political" is placed in shaping the moral main body and constructing political community to demonstrate that the citizen morality is a need to the national democracy and justice, freedom civil society. Then, this study analyzed the phenomenon of "citizen" absent in Chinese higher education, the reasons of the phenomenon are lack of the value orientation and the way of political socialization, the lack of core element of citizen culture in higher education--the "moral education" is not paid enough attention. Last, The core ideas in the study is the choice of socialist core values in multicultural values in higher education. Thus, the political socialization orientation of moral education of citizen in university has the significance of both the civic education ontology and methodology, which is the inevitable change of paradigm of moral education in universities. In the new paradigm, the basic standpoint of education is to respect students as the moral subject status, and people’s rational pursuit of moral value is human nature hypothesis. In consideration of the separation of both in the past, the significance of the study is to put confluence of political socialization and the moral education in universities as one research approach. Research purpose is to make the political socialization of the eternal pursuit of "basic task to foster citizen" in higher education, and "political socialization" is embedded into the civic education of university so as to realize the core concept of the "pursuit of virtue".The main body of the article consists of introduction and five chapters.In the introduction, basic on the perspective of the "nation-state", to investigate the relationship between the state and civil society, political ties with countries, civil society, the relationship between university and society, politics and people’s relations, college students’ political quality, the relationship between the relation of the citizens’ moral quality.In the chapter Ⅰ, place the popularization stage of higher education in the background of modernization, information-nization, globalization and diversification to discuss the meaning of moral education in colleges and universities, and focus on analysis of citizens’ moral education under the market economy should be based on actual effect the problem of the missing dimension of the political socialization as it ought to be.In the Chapter Ⅲ and Chapter Ⅳ sought by "taking history as a mirror,""Stones from other hills may serve to polish jade ", combing the historical and comparative country analysis of political and social orientation of the status, role in the civic moral education in colleges and universities. The research mainly inspected the disadvantage of depoliticization of civic and moral education in Chinese and foreign universities. It is shown mat the formation and development of the national political culture, all through the conscious guidance, education to achieve political and moral dialectical unity of the society’s political and moral.The chapter V is based on "people-oriented" education philosophy, with adhering to and developing socialism core values as the goal, the content is analysis of the influence of university moral education personal factors, family factors, school education factor, social factor and so on, some suggestions of the principles of moral education in universities and education strategies.
