With a series of reform of China's higher education, college students'employment system has been improving greatly and the past 10 years of China's higher education rapidly shift from the elite education to the public education. As China's socialist market economic system is still in the establishment of the transitional period to improve, employment of college students has become the focus of attention of the whole community. While college students can not find jobs, employers not hire the right people. The main reason is that there is a gap between the employer and some college students. The quality of students'comprehensive quality does not match the demands of employer. College students'employment impacts of reform and modernization drive.From college students'perspective, this paper analyzes the employability composition in order to help students to clear social needs and play to their initiative. Adjusting to the concept employment, college students should enhance employability and competitiveness. The ideological and political education should play an important role in the term of college students'employability and competitiveness. In view of the problems of the ideological and political education in training the college students' employability, the paper analyzes thoroughly the necessity and feasibility of political and ideological education in training college students'employability and competitiveness.The text is divided into four parts. Part one analysis the concept of competitiveness and employment elements. Part two is about various problems of the lack of competitiveness and the analysis of reasons. Part three concerns about the role of the ideological and political education in training college students'competitiveness. Part four explores the specific measures of achieving path of the political and ideological education in training college students'competitiveness.
