Undergraduates as the population who are about to go to the society have the career expection different from other populations. It is the going progress that undergraduates coordinate their interests, ability, value and other subjective factors with society demand and work availability. Thus, it is of great importance to theoretically and practically study the career expection and its characteristics for the current undergraduates to recognize and summarize the shortcomings in undergraduates'employment.Pharmacy has its own professional characteristics. After graduation, most of the undergraduates majoring in pharmacy engage in the career related with pharmacy. It is difficult for undergraduates from other institutes to get into this domain. So the career expection for the undergraduates majoring in pharmacy has great difference from others.From related theories, with the undergraduates from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2008 as the survey subjects, using survey statistics, analytical method and other methods, the fundamental information of the career expection for undergraduates majoring in pharmacy was described; territory, salary, high expection for units, strong desire for profits, eager to recover the investment in human capital costs, lack of entrepreneurial spirits and other problems and their causes were analyzed; further, advice and guidelines including creating correct career expection, strenghening the employment circumstance and system construction, reconstructing family education, optimizing family circumstance and other aspects were proposed.
