In the social life, a person often also has a variety of different social roles, each role has its own corresponding code. On the same particular social status, different people or social groups hold different expectations. When these expectations are conflict or the role of the individual's excessive expectations difficult to cope with, they will result in a conflict of roles. Role conflict as a source of stress will affect people's normal life, but also come to be the main source of mental health problems.Based on the role of theory, we are going to look into the female graduate students who are faced role conflict during graduation time. Firstly the author did in-depth interviews of 15 female graduate students who are from different universities in Beijing area, and then verbatim transcribed the interview material. In the end the author analyzed the interview by using Content Analysis Method.During the graduation time, female graduate students'role conflict is mainly embodied in the social role conflict, and the family conflict is not very clear. Female graduate students'role conflict: (1) Female graduate students face the role conflict when employers and the mentors have different expectations. (2) Female graduate students who undertake post-graduate students and job candidates in a dual role raises conflict between the roles. (3) Parents in the future family and man who is going to marry are different with the female student, in the near graduation at this stage is not the highlight of conflict. Although many female graduate students is still no immediate plans to marry, they believe that employment is the key into the marriage. (4) Work experience of female graduate students are better to adapt their role behavior and deal with the role conflict. (5)Female graduate students from different areas don't have significant differences.
