Enterprise education, as a new concept on education, was proposed in 1989.It mainly trains entrepreneurial awareness, knowledge and spirit of students, which is the contemporary trend in the development of the international higher education.Canada is the more pioneering country for such enterprise education in the world.After three stages, enterprise education of colleges and universities in Canada has formed a relatively complete curriculum system and a social supporting system.Developing the enterprise education in the universities in China, it is not only a new requirement for high education from economic development, but also promotes students to venture their own business, solving the difficult problem of employment partially. In view of the it started late in the colleges and universities in China, enterprise education is immature in theory, curricula and practice.Therefore, it has a strong referential significance to study the enterprise education in the colleges and universities in Canada for the development of such education in the colleges and universities in China.Taking the entrepreneurship education in Canada as an object of study, first, the paper studies its history of development since World War II from three stages, revealing the developmental trend of entrepreneurship education; secondly, the paper analyses the status quo of entrepreneurship education in Canada, including the training objectives, curriculum, curriculum implementation, teachers training, and so forth; Again, this paper compares the similarities and differences among Business School,comprehensive university and community college models of enterprise education in Canada through specific cases, summing up the general characteristics of development, furthermore, it generalizes the problems in the development and trend in the future; last but not least, the paper points out the problem in the process of domestic entrepreneurship education, stating the history, status quota and other aspects.Moreover, referring to the experience of Canada entrepreneurship education, the paper proposes comments and suggestions on plenty of aspects, such as theory, curriculum, and teachers training emphasis of country and society on entrepreneurship education.
