Information Behavior has always been a hot issue in informatics research. If take college teachers as a special information users, their information behavior includes information needs, information search, information utilization and so on. This information doesn't research the information needs of university teachers and their characters from the perspective of information users, or analyze the information search behavior and its way. The main purpose of the study is to add to the research on information use behavior of university teachers, and to analyze the various influential factors on the further information acceptance and use of teachers after getting the information through the information search.Based on the perspective of college teachers'cognizance of information, making reference from ideas of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this paper puts forwards the basic concepts that college teachers accept using the information resources through cognizing their serviceability and ease for use. TAM does not take into account the influences of the task environment on the acceptance and adoption of the information technology, while the information use behavior of college teachers is closely related to their task. Therefore this paper makes reference from the thought of the task-technology fit model (TTF), and adds the teaching task environment to the analysis of the information use behavior of college teachers. On this basis, this paper makes comprehensive reference from core ideas of these two theoretical models, and puts forwards the information use behavior influence model of college teachers The paper designs the questionnaire, analyzing the influence factors of the information use behavior of college teachers on the base of the data analysis and combining the model.This paper views that the influence factors are made up of external factors, internal factors and core factors. The external factors are mainly made up of objective external environment and the adaptation of information resources and work task. Internal factors are mainly personal features of the user. External factors and internal factors affect the core factors, while the core factors influences the information use behavior of college teachers. And as a result the paper concludes that there are two core factors—the serviceability and the ease for useThrough the analysis of survey results, the main conclusions are as follows: each component element of the external factors and internal factors influences the core factors in different degree. The core factors have strong positive effects on using attitude, and the using attitude has significant positive effects on behavioral intention.
