Rural Sports Changes During Thirty Years Of Reform-opening In Dachengqiao Township, Ningxiang Town In Hunan Province

Sports has always been a good traditional avtivity and a good foundation in Hunan since reform-opening policy, as an important part of the rural mass sports work, it made remarkable achievements and progress, but the regional development is highly unbalanced, the overall level is still backward. As the rural economic, social development situation and requirements of the times, there is a big gap.Through questionnaires, participant observation, literature review and other methods, the author tries to learn something about the the changes of mass sports in Dachengqiao Township, Ningxiang Town in Hunan province since the reform-opening. The survey found that, as time goes by, Dachengqiao Township's sports population continues to grow. The amount of sports consumption also will continue to increase, consumption patterns have continued to increase, but the overall level of consumption is not high. Sports consciousness of the peasant masses have also been increased but still not systematic. The sports facilities in rural areas continues to grow. The masses of peasants and sports activities over time showed the diversity of trends, but most of them are voluntary, the degree of organization is not high. Dachengqiaoqiao Township's sports enterprise reform has achieved very good results in 1980's in the rural masses, it's the sports recovery phase. And 1990's is the cause of the rapid rural sports development stage. since the 21st century, the mass Dachengqiao Township sports in the county and even into the advanced ranks of Hunan Province. However, Dachengqiao Township rural sports is in the development process. Obviously support from the government is not enough, and peasants were also generally lack of low quality of culture and sports, sports popularity has yet to be improved, the advantages of school physical education has not been fully exploited. These problems included:rural areas of socio-economic, management restructuring, the main forces of change, cultural qualities of the peasants, rural poverty, cultural qualities etc.Through the investigation of mass sports in Dachengqiao Township rural areas, it will be helpful to the revelation of mass sports in China. Efforts to improve China's legal system to building in rural areas and sports development of the rural masses is the basis of sports and increase investment in rural sports, undertaking efforts to develop sports physical protection of the rural masses. Strengthening the concept of a harmonious new countryside for mass sports culture in rural areas construction is the development of new rural sports, which is a necessary condition for the reform of school sports. Radiation and promoting the rural sports development are the ways to the development of rural masses sports. Rural sports will speed up the process of sport socialization in the future, and we can get to know its trends:physical activity as a regular activity, physical activity toward scientific content of the form diversity of sports, sports trend of increasing life and so on.
