Graduation internship is of great importance in university practical courses and independent internship is an organizational form of graduation internship, which is different from the traditional graduation internship. It focus on practical approach to a free combination of students, the completion of their internships contact graduation requirements of practice teaching internship way. According to existing studies and an interview survey that the current independent internship is lack of standardized self-management and guidance, poor communication, evaluation method single and so on. Faced with these problems, it need introduce new concepts and technological means to change and solve a number of current problems.The purpose of this study is to bring Web2.0 services into college students' independent graduation internship. In order to design a specific research program, we select a class of college students from X college of Z normal university as a case.From the needs of college students,instructors,school and web2.0 application, designing an network platform based on Google sites and Google groups. The platform can provide a public platform for communication and resources sharing of independent interns; besides, it can support process management and guidance of college instructors; more importantly, it can provide a basic environment for the construction of online course.From the views of practical needs is the main source of modular design of the platform. On the basis, it described the functional structure of the platform in detail.Moreover, according to the goal and task of the graduation, this paper design the themes, processes and evaluation methods of several independent interns individual and team activities from the theory, principles and strategies based on two web2.0 services.The study also carried out a full record of internship process about 2 months.During the process, explore how to combine some activities between practice-based problems and daily tasks in order to achieve the typical application of communication, sharing, management, guidance, and evaluation. After the graduation internship, this paper makes a conclusion from participants, resources, problem-solved and application of the basic aspects on the platform. On the basis, it makes a content analysis from the level of satisfaction, emotional interaction on the platform.In order to gather more comprehensive information, this study used qualitative interviews in order to obtain depth analysis; several independent interns were interviewed around the following aspects:participation in power, influence factors, basic support and services, technical environment, evaluation criteria. Also, their instructor was interviewed around experience, technical environment, activities designed and promotion.The results show that the platform based on Google sites and Google groups can provide a basic support for independent interns in communication, information and resources sharing, problems solved and reflection. Besides, independent interns participated in the actives on the platform can provide the basis of their performance evaluation.The motivation of independent interns participate in the actives come from the mandatory constraints, emotional interactions and self-realization. The obstacles come from the following aspects:lacking of time, stability of the two web2.0 services, activities design is attractive, group activities are difficult to organize. According to a deep analysis of the case, this study suggests that using the current web2.0 services during the process of independent graduation internship is possible and worth trying. It is a good way for college and instructors to manage the independent interns of the supplementary. However, the conditions required for web2.0 services application need supports and transformations from many aspects.
