There are two kind of instruction models, "teaching" the main instruction mode andthe "learning" instruction mode. They have advantages of their own. Form theviewpoint of the educational mode of our country, the rapid development of themodern science and technology, the Internet has entered people's lives, multimediainformation technology environment, extensive use of Internet education networkhave an effect on teaching behavior, teachers' professional development and so onthrough its advanced idea of teaching and unique way. What's more, it provides adevelopment of space and basis for the "learning" based teaching model. However,traditional classroom teaching still occupies an important position in now education.The two instruction models have its advantages; therefore we cannot give up any oftwo. Because of the strong interaction and social aspects of the traditional classroominstructional mode, there is also a growing recognition that is technology cannot solveall the problems of teaching. E-learning is not able to completely replace traditionalclassroom learning, so in recent years, the field of educational technology researcherstried to combine some theories and techniques. Then put the result of combination ofe-learning and classroom learning into the practice and have achieved some results.This paper is based on this concept to select Google as platform for the research, anddesign learning activities.Nowadays there are innumerable the e-learning platforms, Google platform for itsease of use, low cost and other characteristics to be our choice, however. In this paper,learning from four kinds of instructional design model and being based on the modernlearning theories, proposes learning activities based on the Google platform designflow. According to existing e-learning related to the design principles, content andstrategy and Google features to design study activities, and its position in the assistingclassroom teaching. Then applied it to the practice of"Distance education and basictheory"teaching, through the following process: design-practice-redesign-practice.The course concludes five modules, these five modules are divided into three parts,and the three parts are the three stages of the research in the paper, these five moduleslearning activities in the form of group learning mainly, and summary by interviews,observation and other methods. Drawing two conclusions, one is made from a theoretical point of view of learning activities based on Google platform for the threestages of the design process and practice. Second, get the three on learning activitiesbased on Google platform supporting classroom teaching, concluding Selecting thereasonable platform, concerned group of students and improve learning efficiency.Meanwhile, in the course of the study also found a number of issues, including theplatform and resources of two parts. But in general, using this study is the design oflearning activities based on Google platform, the process is the ability to service forthe traditional classroom, but also to mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, so, thisstudy proposed the use of the tools in the Google platform to carry out assistedclassroom learning activities is feasible.
