Based on the investigation and analysis of the morality education management practices of partial primary schools in Wuhou District, this thesis researches how to combine the Chinese traditional culture education with the morality education management of the primary schools, especially in such an era when the Chinese society is facing a reshaping period and people's thoughts are under the continual impact of the Western culture. This thesis reveals how the Chinese children's moral system can be completed and how the corresponding morality education mechanism is established. Some good examples are given about the way the traditional civil spirits (including self-respect, self-confidence, self-inspiration and self-independence) are rooted into students'hearts. On-paper investigation methodology, review and query methodology, object observation methodology and case investigation methodology are applied to accomplish this research. The investigation of primary school students, ranging from grade three to grade six, can be summarized into four dimensions: the diary habits, the mastering extents of traditional culture, the sources of culture knowledge acquisition, the understanding of individual and society relationship, as well as the value systems of the students. The thesis illustrates the situation of moral education in the involved schools, together with the means and effects of combing morality education management and Chinese traditional culture. As shown by the research results, the experiences acquired from practice by the partial primary schools mainly consist of the following parts: Firstly, taking advantage of the local history to promote the traditional culture; secondly, utilizing the geographic features of school to import the traditional culture; thirdly, starting from diary habits to cultivate the traditional virtues; and fourthly, persisting on reading activities to study the traditional culture. As a whole, the overall morality education situations of the sample schools are benign and the morality education work has taken the due path; most schools and families have taken active role in promoting the main-stream traditional culture and morality value. Both the situation-adaptive education mechanism of the schools and the in-depth influence of the families have been successfully implied by the children's behaviors.Meanwhile, the research results also uncover some unfavorable facts. For example, the trend of over-focusing on the form of combing traditional culture with morality education management, the lack of characteristics of partial schools in the practice, the discontinuity and gap between stages of morality education activities, the less participation of many involvers, as well as the shortage of expanding morality education from schools to communities, etc. Therefore in the morality education practices from today on, we shall devote to solving the above defects, trying to provide a favorable environment for the students to be indulged in the beneficial traditional culture and value system, so that our country can enter into a splendid era!...
