The General High School Language Curriculum Standards(revised in 2017 and 2020)emphasize the core literacy of the subject as the basis for promoting the reform of the language curriculum.The core literacy of language subjects is the necessary character and key abilities that students form through language course learning,including "language construction and use","thinking development and enhancement","cultural heritage and understanding It includes four aspects: "language construction and use","thinking development and enhancement","cultural heritage and understanding",and "aesthetic appreciation and creation".This paper seeks to address the main issue of how to implement the concept of core literacy and improve the teaching of scripts,which is an important language teaching resource.The script is an important language teaching resource,and how to implement the concept of core literacy and improve script teaching is the main question this paper wants to address.Interviews and questionnaires were used to understand the current problems of script teaching.Teachers: teaching objectives and contents focus on the dimension of knowledge,ignoring other values of the script;The teaching method mainly adopts the teaching method,ignoring the main position of students;The teaching evaluation method and evaluation subject are single,and do not focus on the overall development of students.Students: Students’ enthusiasm for script learning is not high,and their learning attitude is not positive;The learning goal is mainly to master knowledge,but failed to understand the uniqueness of the script;Pay attention to the content of elective textbooks and only ignore the content of elective textbooks;The learning method is also the traditional listening to teachers,lacking the consciousness of active exploration.Why is script teaching problematic? The "utilitarianism" of teaching objectives,the "scarcity" of learning experiences,and the "specificity" of the play genre.Based on the above problems and causes,we combine the core literacy concept of language subjects and the actual script teaching in high school,and propose suggestions for script teaching in high school from four aspects of core literacy,and tries to improve the "Marginalization" of script teaching.Students should initially recognize the language composition and characteristics of the script,taste the lines,comment on the script,and improve the language construction and expression;through interpreting roles,combing and exploring script contradictions,adapting scripts,promoting the development of figurative thinking and optimizing the quality of thinking;clarify the background and cultural connotation of the script,compare the differences between China and Western cultures in the thematic study,deepen the cultural identity in the situation,and improve the sensitivity and inheritance of culture;Read the lines,taste the language,participate in the rehearsal of the drama,feel the characters,imitate the script,and enhance the feeling and creativity of the beauty of the script.
