| The overall development of the national economy of a country is often based on the development of regional economic,using the development of regional economy to promote the development of the national economy has become China's national economic development strategy.Therefore, the regional sports industry is an important part of the development of our country the sports industry.We must use the sports industry of developed areas as the precursor and use the first city within the region as the center point to make effort to achieve the coordinated development of China's sports industry.The development of regional sports industry should be the development which is based on the enhancement of competitiveness and the in-depth research of the regional sports industry competitiveness has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper uses Michael Porter's competitive advantage theory and the basic theories of sports industry competitive and selects the competitiveness of the regional sports industry as the research object and selects the relevant indicator datas of China's 12 provinces (cities) in the Statistical Yearbook and uses Qualitative methods and quantitative methods to conduct the systematic analysis of the comparison issues of the regional sport industry competitiveness.This paper designs the evaluation index system of the regional sport industry competitiveness and conducts the empirical analysis of sport industrial competitiveness of 12 provinces (cities) and proposes the suggestions of the enhancement of the sports industry competitiveness. Following major elements:First, it describes the background and significance of the research topic, theoretical basis and the research status. It conducts the comprehensive review and summary of the related concepts of sport industryl competitiveness and the classical competitiveness theory and it analyzes of the impact factors of the sport competitive industry. Second, it designs the evaluation index system of the regional sport industry competitiveness and it conduct the empirical analysis of the sports industry competitive conditions of China's 12 provinces (cities). According to the principles of scientificalness, feasibility, relevance,it selectes 16 three-class indicators to build the evaluation index system of the regional sport industry competitiveness and it select the the relevant indicators data of economic and social development of 12 provinces (cities) and it uses the factor analysis and principal component analysis to conduct the empirical analysis of the sports industry competitiveness of 12 provinces (cities).The results shows that:China's sports industry competitiveness can be divided into three levels:the strong areas of competitive sports industry (Beijing), the middle areas of competitive sports industry (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hebei, Shandong) and the weak areas of competitive sports industry (Jilin, Hebei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan). Among them, Beijing is the strongest power areas of competitive sports industry. Beijing is the fastest to enhance the competitive power of sports industry Judging from the time.Finally, it proposes the suggestions of the enhancement of the sports industry competitiveness. The suggestions includes:guiding sports consumption, and cultivating the sports market; changing concepts and adjusting the industrial structure; drafting the preferential policies of supporting the development of the sports industry; cultivating sports industry management talents;inproving the sport regulations and strengthening law enforcement; learn from foreign experience and deepening sport system reformation.
