Students' Leisure Time Analysis And Educational Countermeasures

With the universal leisure society, the leisure time of university students is muchlonger than before and their leisure life has become an important and essential part ofuniversity life. The quality of university students' leisure life will directly affect theadvance and development of the individual and the future society. Therefore,concerning with the leisure life and education for leisure is not only the requirementof university students' development, but also of social development. It is a major taskof university ideological and political work in the new period.The thesis mainly takes demonstration study method and questionnaireinvestigation for 600 university students of 6 universities in Guangzhou, the biggestopen coastal city of south china. It synthesizes three angles, which are leisure time,leisure activities and leisure state of mind, and then it analyzes the current status ofthe leisure life of Guangzhou university students. So far, the character of the leisurelife of Guangzhou university students are follows: plenty of leisure time, abundantactivity for spending leisure time, the existence of both independence and reliance,the main activity carrier by the media primarily, the high expectation and goodappraisal to own leisure life and so on, But it also has many anxious problems,such asmajority of university students lack self-consciousness and independence to plan anduse leisure time; The leisure activity structure is not balanced and the level is low;Most university students have deviate leisure values and so on. Aimed at the veryexist problems, this article mainly discusses the countermeasure of education forleisure in university, it proposes the goal, the content and the practice measure ofuniversity students' education for leisure.The thesis consists of five parts:The first part is the preface. It tells us the background and significance of theresearch, and the current foreign and domestic research status, also the method and thedesign of the research. And then it gives the core concepts.The second part elaborates the significance of leisure life for the growth ofuniversity students. The third part analyzes the current status of the leisure life of Guangzhouuniversity students from four aspects and angles comprehensively, which are leisuretime, leisure activities and leisure state of mind, according to the contents and thefindings of the investigation and the given analysis frameworks. Then it makes thesummarization and the contrastive analysis of the investigation result.The fourth part based on the investigation and the analysis, it probes intoeducation for leisure in university from both theories aspect and practice aspect.The fifth part is the conclusion.
