A Study On The Competent Quality Of Social Sport Instructor In The Operating Fitness Club

Social sport instructor is a popular profession, and an important part of human resources in fitness club. Only those social sports instructors with the comprehensive quality are qualified for market competitiveness, and competent to work better. This thesis aims at finding the competency of social sports instructors in the operating fitness club, and providing the basis for its personnel management and training.According to the purpose of this thesis, the object of the study is social sport instructor in the operating fitness club. The author chooses 300 social sports instructors in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an and Taiyuan, and through the random sampling, it is found that 256 samples are effective. This study employs the literature method, qualitative research, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, etc, and finally the questionnaire has good construct validity. Through testing the internal consistency reliability in the questionnaire, the study gets the Cronbach a coefficient 0.859, and shows that the reliability of this questionnaire is high. The study of the data collected during the research is gathered by SPSS 13.0. This thesis finds that the competency of social sports instructors in fitness club is reflected in professional knowledge, professional skill, basic application skills, innovating application skills, charisma, interactive control, fitness evaluation, achievement orientation, etc.These qualities have a certain correlation to embody the social sports instructors'competencies. Then the author analyzes the differences of social sports instructors'competencies among different professions, qualifications, Billing Division of the qualification certificate and work experience.Finally, the author gives the following suggestions: speeding up the process of establishing vocational qualification certification system of the occupational social sports instructors; strengthening the cultivation of social sports instructors'professions and their service awareness; implementing category management and popularizing the association management mode of social sports instructors; increasing the training intensity of social sports instructors.
