Design And Realization Of Network Management Agent Under Embedded Linux System

With the development of microprocessor technology, embedded system has become a important part in the computer realm. The combination of communication and network technology can greatly enhance the intelligence and flexibility of network, extend communication functions. Linux has been used in many embedded systems because of its good performance. Achieving the network management under embedded Linux operating system is highly significant.We analyze the normal model of network management and its basic architecture .Then study the method of developing enviroment, including hardware and software platform designing. By thoroughly studying the current popular network management protocol SNMP, we design and implement the SNMP agent of the embedded Linux operating system on the communication platform. Finally, we give some test results.
