The thesis is mainly research on the approach of film and television language onnarrative ideographic expression. In spite of the microcosmic symbol structure oflanguage and the macroscopic functions,even the surface linguistic form and thedeep ideographic pattern,film-TV language is different than the natural language. Asa new language symbol,all of these can show its special characteristics.Firstly, it is necessary to distinguish the ideographic pattern betweenfilm-TV language and natural language on one hand and explain the ideographicexpression of them with ideographic structure and achievement of film-TV languageabout narrative. Including model and utterance,we should explore how to carry outideographic way of film-TV language. For example,structuralismã€montageã€soundã€frames.Secondly,in terms of linguistic form,film-TV language is the figurativenesslanguage of seeing and hearing. Distinct from abstract natural language,it is not onlythe comprehensive dynamic language of seeing and hearing in the process ofspace-time motion but its narration has the maximum limitation on historical recordabout objective reality. In the sense of semiotic, film-TV language is more complexthan natural language on the aspects of ideographic way and the partial structure ontwo-double of sound and meaning. It can coordinate ideographic expression througheffect of lightã€colorã€soundã€elements of picture composition. The combined relationof ideographic elements of natural language does not complex than the film-TVlanguage.In addition,due to the shortage of words’ dispersive units,regulation ofmorphology is not exist in the film-TV language. Finally, the ultimate goal should beachieved by transmission and aesthetic appreciation even by the spread effect ofideographic expression. The thesis from the notion of the film-TV language,thecomparison on natural language,the characteristic of narration,introduce three majorfeatures of it. The thesis also introduce the film-TV language structureã€realization and present effect from narration. There is no regulation in films and televisionprograms should be abided.Lens combination in the context of film and television works in film andtelevision language subject to the logic of the narrative, but a combination of two ormore of the specific lens are no fixed rules at all. The narrative concept of filmlanguage researched extremely few in domestics and overseas. Linguistics andsemiotics as well as film studies, also some of the disciplines of knowledge points areneeded for its research. Therefore, the thesis is based on top of other disciplines toexplore the feature of film and television language: truth, formula and transitive,and to analysis how to achieve film language narrative structures and narrativeideogram patterns. In the thesis to explore "narrate" need to be separated from thearea of the "narrative", though they are conducting about talking things, but also has acertain differences between them. So, through the structure analysis of ’narrative’, andcombined with communication scholar Bergner who come up narrativecommunication structure for writing research, which divided into five stuctures, theInitiative, the Perceiver, the Occasions of Occurrence, the Materials ofCommunication, and the Final Result of Narrative. This thesis would be of greatsignification in the film and television language.
