Rhetoric teaching has an important role in Chinese as second language teaching, but currently rhetoric teaching has not received enough attention. This thesis using students from International School of Culture and Education, Heilongjiang University as example, do a survey and analyze aspects such as students’acquisition of Chinese rhetoric, distribution of rhetoric contents in students’common textbook and rhetoric teaching in class. The aim is to understand current status of rhetoric teaching in senior grade student and its problem, to determine teaching difficulty, focal point, methods, and give opinions, in hope that this thesis could be helpful for teaching rhetorical in Chinese as second language teaching.
