Rhetoric is one of the most important contents of Chinese rhetoric,and it is an essential part of the proper use of Chinese.Also,rhetoric is an important part of Chinese culture,the Chinese culture of 5000 years has accumulated out of Chinese people's unique art of communication,that is,the use of Chinese rhetoric.In the written expression,accurate use of rhetoric can play a role in coloring the article,make the language more vivid and specific;in oral communication,the proper use of Chinese rhetoric can give people a sense of humor and witty feeling,make the conversation more attractive.Therefore,rhetorical knowledge is an indispensable part of the two language learners.However,up to now,there is still not enough emphasis on the teaching of figures of speech in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Although some experts and scholars have paid attention to the importance of rhetoric in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,also published many academic works,but it still can't catch the textbook writers attention and can't catch the attention of the teachers in the actual classroom teaching.Thus,it is not ideal to use the figures of speech for foreign students.We randomly selected 300 essays from the HSK dynamic essay in Beijing Language and Culture University to study.It was found that the students in these countries had similar characteristics in the use of rhetoric,that is,there are fewer types of rhetoric used,the frequency was low and the error rate was high.According to the above results,the author made the study of two language learner's use of rhetorical errors in the teaching materials,learners,teachers and other aspects,and found that there are three points for the reasons why the students use rhetoric type less,low frequency and high rate of error:Firstly,most versions of Chinese textbook writers pay no attention to the importance of rhetoric teaching,less teaching materials in the process of writing comments and explain the exercises rarely,and some even be ignored,So,the teachers and students who select those kind of textbooks do not attach importance to the use of rhetoric.Secondly,the learners themselves avoid to use rhetoric.As everyone knows,rhetoric is a vital part of Chinese culture,five thousand years of Chinese cultural accumulated the Chinese people's unique communication art,therefore,if there is no teacher's explanation,foreign students are difficult to understand not to mention the use of rhetoric,and it will be much more difficult for those students with larger cultural differences from Chinese culture,so students will unconsciously avoid to use rhetoric.Even if earlier foreign students want to try to learn rhetoric,but because of the huge cultural differences and the negative transfer of language led to frequent mistakes,and ultimately hit their enthusiasm.Thirdly,most teachers'teaching concept is still in the traditional level,emphasizing the elements of language teaching,ignore the importance of rhetoric teaching;teachers' research on rhetoric is not enough;teachers does not attach importance to the teaching methods of Chinese rhetoric.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions based on the research result and hope to help the teaching of rhetoric,also expect students can learn more accurate and idiomatic Chinese and have the proper use of Chinese in the future work and life.
