A Study On The Proverbs Of Zuo

The Classics Zuozhuan was one kind of reliable literature studying the history ofChunqiu.The scholars of the different times studied it deeper and deeper,so the creative pointswere hard to make.We needed to change thought and visual angle,and excavate the historyinformation in it from new angle.The new history rising in20th century used folk life as its maincontents.The way leaded us to make proverbs appointed in Zuozhuan as researchobjects.Through the information on society,politics,culture of Chunqiu reflected by proverbs,thenew angle and some realistic significance towards Potentate were provided.This paper consisted of seven parts.The first part was exordium, it mainly introduced fourcontents:the origin of theselected topic,research status,research meaning and definition ofproverbs.The second part mainly introduced the surveyof proverbs appointed in Zuozhuan.Thenthe proverbs were classified according to their contents. What’s more, the characters and reasonsabout proverbs appointed in Zuozhuan were analyzed.The third part, the fourth part and the fifthpart were the corpus part.They respectively analyzed the politics, social life and thought inChunqiu reflected by proverbs. The third part mainly dissertated political struggles in Chunqiureflected by proverbs. The folk proverbs was not only one kind of public opinion force, but alsoone kind of means which made expostulations convey.The fourth part mainly discussed from therelation between proverbs and the social life.Through analyzing the social life state in Chunqiuand propagation of the proverbs,cultural exchange was brought to light.We could know thatproverbs was one kind of way for roughscuff to accept the education.The fifth part mainlyintroduced from the relation between proverbs and the thought culture in Chunqiu,consisted ofthe thought of thinking highly of people,the idea of ethics and the thought of laying emphasison old times.The sixth part mainly introduced history value and realistic significance ofproverbs.We regarded proverbs as historical sources to study and provided a new angle forhistory research.It was meaningful for modern society to pay more attention on proverbs.Theseventh part was conclusion.The important value and meaning of proverbs appointed in wasexplored from lots of history information reflected by proverbs.
