Nongzheng Quanshu is a great science book in the agricultural history of China. This book is easy to understand, and spoken words are very rich, who has important lexical meaning. The agricultural colloquialisms are that the lower middle class people renamed the agriculture words according to the specific characteristics of agricultural things. This paper regards Nongzheng Quanshu as the corpus and conducts agricultural colloquialisms from the perspective of linguistics. The main contents of this Paper are as follows:The first chapter analyses the life of Xu guangqi, who is the author of the book and his Nongzheng Quanshu, Which Contains the main content, the nature of the corpus, academic value, etc.The second and third chapter is the center of the paper. The second chapter is about the classification study of agricultural colloquialisms of Nongzheng Quanshu. The agricultural colloquialisms are divided into four areas Which Contains bamboo trees, vegetables and fruits, agricultural equipment, grain rice cereal, etc. The paper analyze and make textual criticisms and explanations of difficult agricultural colloquialisms, and the core meaning of agricultural colloquialisms based on the characteristics of agricultural development and other subsections literature in the Ming Dynasty from different various angles.The third chapter discusses the word motivation of agricultural colloquialisms. It is divided into Words outside justifications and Words inside justifications. Words inside justifications are divided into shaped tone differentiation and the structural changes of name. Words outside justifications are divided into intuition justifications non-intuitive rationale and cultural justifications. The methods of word creation include Depending on the feeling of coinage, which contains vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch, Lenovo and other methods of coinage.Chapter4is about cognitive studies of agricultural colloquialisms. Analyzing Category phenomenon of agricultural colloquialisms of Nongzheng Quanshu from the point of cognitive science.The paper analyzes why agricultural colloquialisms which include vegetables and flowers often have animal names and discusses the use of metaphor and metonymy in Nongzheng Quanshu.
