In our daily interaction, when we want to hide or express our feelings, we always overate the degree of transparency. Gilovich defines it as individuals feel that their internal states are more transparent than they really are. We call it "illusion of transparency". This kind of illusion has been proved in many fields of human communication, including speech, negotiation, affinity and so on. This research will further expand this field of illusion. As we know, group confliction frequently happened in contemporary society. Cognitive bias is an important psychological factor for this case, which includes illusion of transparency. This research primes three roles-including direct-interest group and indirect-interest group on one side in the confliction and predominant group on the other side-through experiment materials of self-made conflict cases, to study illusion of transparency of different groups under the different emotional intensity in group confliction, further understand other cognitive appraisal of different roles against group conflict cases. The research result shows:1In group confliction, direct-interest groups have illusion of transparency, i.e. Overrating the transparency degree of the other side against its rage.2In group confliction, indirect-interest groups also have illusion of transparency, which is stronger than that of direct-interest groups.3In different stages of confliction, if the strength of rage is different, so as the degree of illusion of transparency. The stronger the rage is, the greater the illusion of transparency.4In group confliction, the degree of involvement is positive corelated to self-felt illusion of transparency. The higher the degree of involvement is, the stronger self-felt illusion of transparency.5In group confliction, the sense of power is negative corelated to self-felt self-felt illusion of transparency. The weaker the sense of power, the stronger self-felt illusion of transparency.6The other-cognitive evaluation of direct-interest group, indirect-interest group and predominant group exists differences, including the evaluation to compensation standard, the evaluation to government capacity, the cognition to different behavior patterns, he value orientation to self-interest and public interest.
