This paper introduces theory and method of chaology, researching formation mechanisms of quasi-affix in modern Chinese from a new perspective. The paper has proved that language system is a dissipative structure at first, and then insists that the formation of quasi-affix is a self-organizing process of "Chaos to order". Chinese quasi-affix developed gradually under actions of trigger mechanism of semantic fluctuation, response mechanism of language feedback, and competition and cooperation of language subsystems. The features of dissipative structure determine material, energy and information exchange between language systems and external environments. So in this self-organizing process, the formation of quasi-affix is closely associated with interaction with society system and psychological system of Han Nationality. These external environments have activation functions to the formation of quasi-affix, showing in catalyzing semantic variation, accelerating formation and effect of psychological acknowledgment and so on. On the basis of performing their own functions, they interact and contact each other. The coactions of self-organization and external environments make quasi-affix change to be a new, ordered mode of word formation, making sure language system transits to be new dissipative structures constantly and achieves new expression functionOn the basis of analyzing formation mechanism of quasi-affix, the paper also analyzes the systematicness of quasi-affix. The constant formation of quasi-affixes makes language system shaping new dissipative structure. So quasi-affixes exist in language system systematically, rather than in a state of disunity, serving for language communications commonly. The systematicness of quasi-affix shows in its paradigmaticity, competitiveness and dynamism.
